Lisa Little
Lisa is a skilled negotiator. Before going to law school she majored in psychology at McGill University. At the University of Alberta Law School she took many courses focusing on the practicalities of negotiation, litigation and advocacy. Lisa uses her skills to assess clients (and opponents) files for strengths and weaknesses in order to determine the best way to move forward on any given case. She believes that each person and case is unique and that it is necessary to understand this context in order to help clients achieve their goals.
Prior to becoming a consultant at OLS/Orenstein & Associates, Lisa worked there as an articling student (2015-2016) and as a student-at-law since 2013. Additionally she has served on a number of student committees in both McGill and the University of Alberta. She also volunteered for Student Legal Services in 2012-2013 to give free legal information to those people in Edmonton who could not afford a lawyer. Her time spent dealing with many people of varying interests, backgrounds and locations has helped her to hone her assessment abilities and make her a valuable consultant.
